You’ll explore leadership theories, styles, and effectiveness by analyzing them through the dual lenses of concern for production (characterized by job-centered, task-oriented leadership that initiates structure) and concern for employees (entailing relationship-oriented leadership that demonstrates consideration for team members).

Refer to Figure 2-2 in your textbook to review the Leadership Behavior Theory which suggests that effective leadership stems from striking a balance between a focus on production and consideration for people. Also, take into account the valuable feedback from the discussion this week.
