A Letter to Uncle Salvador
For this assignment, you are to assume that you have an Uncle Salvador. You are very close to this uncle, and he remains extremely interested in your professional progress and wellbeing. Even though he only has an eighth-grade education, he is extremely bright and always demands that you read papers and cite sources. For this assignment, you are going to be writing a letter to your Uncle Salvador.
In your letter to Uncle Salvador, you are going to explain to him that you are extremely excited over the fact that you have recently landed a job as a budget manager and college enrollment specialist. You are free to establish whatever business context you would like. Based on your own professional backgrounds and experiences, it may be helpful for you to choose a business context that you are at least somewhat familiar with given the fact that you will be doing more with this case study example later in the course.
In your letter to Uncle Salvador, please describe for him your new position and then thoroughly explain what a budget manager and enrollment specialist actually does. Again, assume his intellect but lack of experience and be specific about what a budget manager/enrollment specialist does while citing sources that help to make your case.
Your work should come in the form of a formal APA paper and come in the following components.
· Component 1: An introduction to the topic and an overview of the ideas to be presented.
· Component 2: An exploration of the importance of understanding and applying fiscal context in the budget management and student enrollment process.
· Component 3: An exploration of the role of strategic enrollment planning and the contextual issues that emerge.
Please ensure in executing this assignment that you make specific references to the readings provided as well as the utilization of at least five outside references which can be used to support your ideas presented. The use of outside sources is important because even though the materials provided for this course are excellent, as a graduate student you are expected to be able to consult a variety of sources regarding a given topic and synthesize that scholarly input into a thoughtful set of recommendations, conclusions, etc.
The essay should be 2000- words and should include at least five (5) citations. The sections should be clearly marked with headings so that your instructor knows which points you are addressing. Follow the guidelines for APA writing style. The title page and references page do not count towards the minimum word amount for this assignment.
