feedback- For analysis section describe how you will use descriptive statistics along with measures of central tendency for results. Lastly, project how you might use a correlational approach and a T-Test to investigate your data retrieved from measures/assessment.
Based on Feedback from your methodology section you will be provided 1-2 statistical techniques to propose to complete your proposal. For each technique craft a 200-300 word summary about the the particular method. Describe how it is calculated, what the calculations can convey (information wise), cite example of where/how it can be used and its utility.
The second section should be reflective of your write up that will become part of your proposal. Provided the context of your summary from above, draft a data analysis section that integrates your research variables within the statistical techniques from your summary. Project what data will be available and how it will be utilized and calculated.
Examples are attached, yours will be different based on the suggested measure(s)

Summary
A Paired Samples T-Test compares two sample means from the same population regarding the same variable at two different times such as during a pre-test and post-test. It can also compare two sample means from different populations whose members have been matched. This would help determine whether the difference between the two means is statistically significant or occurred by chance alone. A paired t-test is used to compare two population means where you have two samples in which observations in one sample can be paired with observations in the other sample. Examples of where this might occur are:
• Before-and-after observations on the same subjects (e.g. students’ diagnostic test results before and after a particular intervention).
• A comparison of two different methods of measurement or two different treatments where the measurements/treatments are applied to the same subjects.

Sample Write Up: Analysis
Data Analysis: Two types of analysis are proposed for this study. First, in order to provide a description of the sample from which data will be collected, descriptive information on age, gender, and soci-economic status will be described and disseminated in appropriate graphical representations, as well as the means, modes, range, and standard deviations for the achievement scores within the proposed assessments. This data will provide context of the sample and primary data on the variables under investigation.
Second, to determine any significant statistical differences in achievement scores between the control and experimental groups a paired sample t-test will be utilized. This method is used to examine for any significant differences among the two group with respect to achievement scores. Essentially, if the experimental group has a significantly higher mean score on the posttest, the education intervention of X( problem based learning, small groups, video games, etc..) can be deemed as an influential factor with respect to the differences in achievement.

Methodology: Assessing the Impact of Mindfulness Meditation on Stress Levels in College Students

Assessing the Impact of Mindfulness Meditation on Stress Levels in College Students
The proposed study is aimed at examining how mindfulness meditation can be used to decrease the university students’ stress levels. The research questions guiding this study are:
· Does participating in a mindfulness meditation program reduce stress levels in college students?
· Are there any significant differences in stress levels between students who participate in mindfulness meditation and those who do not?
· How do students perceive the effectiveness of mindfulness meditation in managing stress?
This study will use a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group. This design gives researchers opportunity to match the outcomes of two diverse groups (treatment and control) without involving random assignment (Ball, 2021). It will enable the assessment of the degree of stress in a group of students who have mindfulness practice and another group of students who will serve as the control one. The quasi-experimental design is the most appropriate for the evaluation of interventions in natural settings and it provides a good opportunity for finding out about the effectiveness of mindfulness meditation in reducing stress.
The research will be conducted in a medium-sized community college of a suburban area. The College caters for a student population that is made up of both full-time and part-time learners from different backgrounds. Stress among college students is a prevalent issue, impacting academic performance and overall well-being. Therefore, the college setting is chosen to address the need for stress management interventions within the higher education context.
The sample for this study will consist of convenience sample of college students. The group will be picked from different academic programs and levels to guarantee that there is diversity. The sample will be made up of 50 students, with 25 students in the intervention group and the other 25 students in the control group. Participants are going to be selected on a voluntary basis.
Supporting data will be gathered and processed through self-report measurements to estimate stress magnitudes before and after the proposed intervention. The PSS tool will be employed to serve as the primary measure of perceived stress and stress type. The PSS is a widely used scale with established reliability and validity in assessing stress perception among college students. Moreover, qualitative data will be gathered through open-ended questions to dig deeper into the meditating process experiences of the participants and as well as the effects of mindfulness exercise on stress management.
The intervention group then will engage in a directed mindfulness meditation approved program that includes weekly sessions for eight weeks. A workshop session is envisioned to be made up of suggested mindfulness practices that would include focus on breathing, body scan and yoga. In addition, trainees will be taught to manifest mindfulness abjections into their everyday lives. All participants in the control group will keep up with the usual or base regime.
Data Collection will be performed at three times interval: pre-intervention, post-intervention and follow up. Participants will be asked to fill the Perceived Stress Scale questionnaire at every point of time to see if their stress levels are increasing or not. Qualitative data will be collected through interviews with small batches of participants taken from both groups in order to appreciate their thoughts and feelings about mindfulness meditation and its effects on stress management. Research assistants will be responsible for data collection on the campus itself while following ethical rules and striving for consistency.
