week 7 breezy powerpoint

Please use attachments as guidance if needed.
Goal: Demonstrate  the ability to create a final project that uses both research-based and  personal content while using presentation software to communicate with  an intended audience.
Description:
During  the first six-weeks you formulated a project plan, researched the  content of the plan, and collected quality academic and non-academic  sources. For the week 7 Final Project you will create a presentation (CO8) that builds upon the Week 3 Project Plan and the Week 5 Location and Access (Source Organization worksheet) that effectively communicates the knowledge you have gained during COMM120.
Please consider the following:

Presentation  will include an introduction, body, conclusion, and properly formatted  reference/work cited slide in the citation style of your degree program  (APA, MLA, or Chicago).
Clear evidence that the topic was researched and expanded upon the week 2 Project Plan (CO2 & 5).
Presentation provides audience with information to increase their knowledge of the topic presented (CO1).
Presentation engages the audience by using elements such as images, graphs, and charts. Appropriate citations must be included.
Three (3) vetted credible sources. One (1) of the sources must be scholarly and from the library.
Appropriate length 7-9 slides.

If  you have multimedia skills and want to add creative content to your  presentation, please do! Try to add any of the following enhancements  and as you do, think about how it will impact your presentation and  improve communication with the intended audience.

Voice narration, closed captioning, script.
Appropriate background music (must be cited on reference page).
Creative use of slide animations and transitions.

Source Evaluation Worksheet

Part I: Topic: Artificial Intelligence
The term ‘artificial intelligence’ (AI) refers to the ability of machines to mimic human intelligence. Artificial intelligence’s purpose is to use computer power to enhance perception, cognitive ability and learning. AI is currently being used across industries such as healthcare and finance. AI-driven algorithms reduce the time spent on data processing and thus minimize human errors. Such algorithms manage large datasets effectively, exhibiting hidden trends and patterns that could otherwise be neglected.

Erica Royle
APUS February 25, 2024.

Part I:
Topic: artificial intelligence
Scope and value:
I am interested in learning how the introduction and advancement of technology, especially the emergence of Artificial intelligence, has changed the world. Therefore, my focus will be learning more about various types of artificial intelligence, their applications in various aspects of human life, and their potential ethical implications. Having an interest in learning more about AI will offer an excellent opportunity to learn and understand concepts used in AI and how different types of AI are applied in fields such as education, healthcare, business, and agriculture, among many others(Russell, 2020). Significant types of AI discussed within the study include but are not limited to self-awareness, theory of mind, limited memory machines, machine learning, and general AI. Also, within the selected topic, the focus will be on the significant ethical implications of artificial intelligence in human life. Among the key issues or ethical implications of AI that will be highlighted are bias and discrimination, privacy and confidentiality issues, and lack of transparency in most AI tools. Studying the ethical implications of human life will create value in my value. The insights gained can be applied to generating ideas on eliminating challenges with AI.
Communication medium:
I will use PowerPoint presentations by creating well-curated visual images, graphics, and videos to make the presentation more attractive and attention winning. I will also make my presentation unique by using diagrams to ensure the audience is engaged throughout the learning process.
Critical thinking questions:
What is artificial intelligence?
What are the benefits of AI?
What are the major types of AI?
What are the applications of AI in human life?
Will one day AI replace humans?
What are the ethical issues associated with AI?
How dangerous can AI be?
Part II:
There is a wide range of sources and libraries with numerous databases on technologies and the use of AI that will be used to support my study. One of the evidence-based databases that I will consider is the Scopus. This database contains not only peer-reviewed articles but also a wide range of quality, reliable, and verified articles by experts in the field of technology. The database contains articles from scientific journals to conference proceedings with adequate data about AI and its implications on human life (FRANKENFIELD, 2020). I will also consider another database, such as PsycINFO, which offers psychological results facts concerning technology such as AI. Tableau, Semantic Scholar, and Google Scholar will be utilized to locate evidence-based articles on AI and its impacts on various aspects of human life.
